Want to try the makerspace out before you buy a membership? Or maybe you have a project where you only need access to the space for a day? If so, the day pass option is for you!
How it works
With our makerspace day pass, you gain full access to the makerspace for a whole day. From the quilting machine to our laser engravers to welding gear and more, it’s all here and waiting for you. And if you decide that day to become a member, you can apply your day pass towards your first month membership dues.
There are three steps to our day pass system. First, put in a reservation for the day you’d like to come in. Second, pay for your day pass. Finally, come in and enjoy the makerspace!
Step 1. Reserve your day
Select the day you’d like to come in. Click on any available (gray) date on the calendar, and fill out some details about the reservation. You’ll be able to come in when you’d like and use the space for the rest of that day between the hours of 9am and 8pm. (You can click on multiple days if you’d like to book more than one.) Once you’ve submitted your date we’ll send you an email letting you know the details of your pending reservation.
Step 2. Pay for your day pass
Click the blue “Purchase Pass” button below to pay for a day pass. Once a staff member has verified your payment, you will be emailed a confirmation notice for your reservation. You’re all set!
This is a day pass, which allows you to come in and use the makerspace for a day. If you really enjoyed the time and want to start a membership, your day pass fee will be applied to your first month!
Step 3. Enjoy your visit!
Come on down to the makerspace and have fun working on your project! Keep in mind our monthly members and/or classes will still be able to use the space, so there may be others around. Also, on your first time using equipment in the space you’ll need to sign our waiver, and Jim or one of our volunteers will give you a quick safety and use briefing.
We hope you enjoy your day at the makerspace! If you do and decide to become a member the same day as you come in to use the space, you can apply your day pass fee toward your first month’s membership. Just ask Jim or a volunteer to help you set up your account.
