What is the Mobile Makerspace?
The Mobile Makerspace is Omaha’s coolest STEM experience! Onboard our Mobile Makerspace trailer are tools to build, create, and learn. 3D printers, a laser engraver, electronics workstations, and even button makers let young and old alike experience the tools of a real makerspace right in their own neighborhood.
On top of that, we can also offer “pop-out” activities, such as our Bernina Sewing Tent, where you can try your hand at making sewn crafts, or our model rocketry experience, where students can launch rockets hundreds of feet into the air. Kids will enjoy our Building Brick Challenge center and other special events.
Rent the Mobile Makerspace for your event!
Interested in having the mobile makerspace make an appearance at your event? Whether it’s a school function, a library or city event, or even a private party, we’re here for you!
When you rent the mobile makerspace, we bring the trailer along with at least one staff member to your event. Every Mobile Makerspace event includes giveaways for attendees made on the onboard laser engraver, as well as button-making, electronic circuitry-building areas, and demonstrations of 3D printing.
In addition, you can select other activities as well, from sewing to building brick challenges, to model rocket launches.

-Bronze Sponsor – $250: You will appear as a Bronze Sponsor on a plaque inside the Mobile Makerspace. You will also be listed on our website as a sponsor.
-Silver Sponsor – $500: You will appear as a Silver Sponsor on a plaque inside the Mobile Makerspace. You will be listed on our website as a sponsor and thanked for your sponsorship in social media. Your logo will appear on the “driver’s side” of the mobile Makerspace trailer.
-Gold Sponsor – $1,000: You will appear as a Gold Sponsor on a plaque inside the Mobile Makerspace. You will be listed on our website as a sponsor and thanked for your sponsorship in social media. Your logo will appear on the “driver’s side” as well as the “event side” of the mobile Makerspace trailer.
