Four years ago, Made New was in desperate need for a truck to pull our Mobile Makerspace. Thanks to a huge sponsorship from our friends at ModernEyes, this big, beautiful truck rolled into our lives, and what a difference it has made! Thanks to this truck, literally thousands of kids have been able to experience hands-on STEM experiences, right in their own neighborhoods.
Today, the truck is beginning to show its age. With well over 200,000 miles on it, things are beginning to break and need costly repairs. In addition to that, our needs at Made New have changed. In addition to towing our Mobile Makerspace, we do other things now, including bringing materials to offsite locations for community partnerships, transporting kids to activities, and more.
This is where you come in. Being a 100% community supported nonprofit means that if we need a new vehicle, we’re going to need your help to make it happen. Right now, we’re hoping to find at least ten new $50 monthly donors, or the equivalent of $500 in new monthly giving. This amount would allow us to purchase a newer, better vehicle for the organization.

Our hope is to find a newer vehicle similar to a Ford Explorer. This would accomplish both of our present needs for a vehicle: it would be powerful enough to tow our Mobile Makerspace, and it would have room for transporting kids and materials.
